Every photograph and printed image held in this archive, laid out as a curator would lay them on a table — whole, at their natural proportions, with what is known about each one and what is not.

Handling rulesNothing here is cropped. Portraits keep their original framing. Where a surviving print is small, damaged or already cropped at the edge, it is shown at the size it can honestly carry rather than enlarged to fill a grid.
